Rotegården
Rotegården is right next to the beautiful meandering Rickleån with the "Flottarstigen och fiskestigen" hiking trail outside the window that follows the river's path towards the sea. Rotegården is a stone's throw away from the Robertsfors community with restaurants, shops and service points.
The farm was built in 1853 and is Sweden's only double root, i.e. it housed two soldier families. Even today, Rotegården consists of two separate residences that can be rented separately. The double root was inhabited right into the 1960s. In the early 2000s, it was carefully renovated to be able to work for rental.
At Rotegården it is possible to grill/fire in the grill ring by the yard. About 20 meters away there is a jetty out into Rickleån with bench tables.
