On September 27th, a new hotel and meeting arena opened in Umeå. With a focus on meetings, events and sustainability, Clarion Hotel Umeå wants to create an international meeting point in central Umeå.
Room for modern meetings
In the middle of an existing block, and with the Umeälven as a neighbor, Umeå's newest meeting arena towers up. With 14,000 square meters spread over 13 floors, 1 divisible event hall, a break-out area of 446 square meters, 12 conference rooms, restaurant and spa, there are premises for everything you can imagine. Board meetings, art exhibitions, lectures, concerts and much more.

Umeå is not only a fantastic city with proximity to Västerbotten's hinterland and Finland, it is also a perfect city for meetings. At the top on floor 13 is Brasserie NÒR with its associated roof terrace and sky bar. The restaurant will be one of three newly opened in the group's latest concept where the focus is uncomplicated food with a tribute to Nordic cuisine and inspiration from Europe. Nordic Choice Hotel's distinct sustainability work will permeate the menu, including with a strong focus on regional ingredients adapted to the season.

On the hotel's top floor, you will also find the Elements Spa with a lounge area for relaxation, relaxation with a sauna and a warming pool with an unbeatable view of Umeå and the Umeälven. Next to the lobby on the entrance floor, the hotel's own living room, with a bar and comfortable lounge furniture, will invite you to another meeting place, regardless of purpose.
