What is the Hiking Festival Hajka?
The Hiking Festival Hajka aims to showcase the Umeå region's rich offering of hiking trails and activity organizers for everyone who loves the outdoors or is curious to try it out. Hajka is an event that promotes outdoor activities and public health, fostering community and togetherness. It's a new and exciting way to discover our accessible nature!
Hajka takes place from October 4-6, 2024, across the entire Umeå region*.

How do I participate in Hajka?
You create your own festival program by selecting the activities you’re interested in. Since the activities take place simultaneously across the Umeå region during the weekend, it’s important to pay extra attention to the time and location to avoid double bookings.
