Bildmuseet - One of Sweden’s leading art galleries for international contemporary art, part of Umeå University and the cultural heart of the Arts Campus.
Kvinnohistoriskt museum - The Museum of Women’s History, Sweden’s first of its kind, located in the cultural center Väven. This cultural hub was completed in 2014, the same year Umeå was designated as the European Capital of Culture.
The Artwork Listen - Located at Rådhustorget in Umeå, this piece represents the municipality's stance against sexual harassment. It is dedicated to those who collectively broke the silence during the MeToo movement. Artist: Camilla Akraka.
Lev! - A 170-meter-long glass artwork in the pedestrian and bike tunnel connecting Järnvägstorget in Umeå’s city center with the Haga district. The passage, named “Saras Thought”, is a tribute to the local author Sara Lidman.
Strandpromenaden - A scenic walking path along the Ume River. Head east, and you'll reach the Arts Campus, Bildmuseet, and Curiosum.
Tavelsjöleden – Perfect for those who want to hike starting right from central Umeå. Follow Strandpromenaden westward to Tavelsjö or eastward to the Grössjön Nature Reserve.
Lundabron - Found along the popular “Broarna runt” walking loop. This bridge takes you to Bölesholmarna and onward to the Teg district, where you can choose to cross the Old Bridge back to the city center.
Årstidernas park - The Park of the Seasons, a riverside oasis in central Umeå, featuring expansive green spaces, wooden decks, seating areas, and steps that allow close interaction with the river.
Gårdshem - Local products and gift items, conveniently located in the Utopia shopping center.
DuÅ - A unique delicatessen inside Väven, focusing on quality, origin, and exceptional culinary experiences.
