Rewilding Hike along the Rödån River

About:  Join the team from Rewilding Sweden for a peaceful forest walk along a section of the Rödån River. Together, we’ll experience rewilding in practice and explore how people and nature can thrive side by side. During the hike, you'll learn about stream restoration - from log jams to spawning gravel, and how it all connects to bring life back to the landscape. Enjoy freshly brewed coffee over an open fire and listen to a local storyteller whose words invite you to tune in to the rhythm of nature.

About:  Guided hike through the beautiful nature around Granö and the Ume River, where you'll have your own husky attached to a waist belt for the hike. The hike lasts approximately 2 hours.

Boy by the sea

Horse-drawn wagon ride along Linnévägen

Date: 3rd October - 5th October
Time: 10:00 am –07:00 pm, by appointment when booking

Location: Västra Spöland 26
Organizer: Eldare Gård

About:  Experience a peaceful horse and wagon ride along parts of Linnévägen – a calm journey through nature that allows time for discovery and reflection. You're welcome to help prepare the horse before and after the ride. You can also add a traditional Swedish fika to your booking.

Accessibility: The wagon is adapted to accommodate two wheelchairs.

About: End the week and start the weekend in the best possible way with an after-work hike in the dark, guided by the light of your headlamp from the village of Tjälamark to Hamptjärnsstugan. There we’ll enjoy our packed meal by an open fire. Content and recharged, we’ll hike back down Hamtjärnsberget along the Tavelsjö Trail.
