About:  Guided hike through the beautiful nature around Granö and the Ume River, where you'll have your own husky attached to a waist belt for the hike. The hike lasts approximately 2 hours.

Boy by the sea

Opening of the Nature Library

Date: 4th October

Location: Nordmaling Library
Organizer: Nordmaling municipality

About:  Welcome to the opening of the Nature Library at Nordmaling Library. Here, children will be able to borrow a backpack and explore nature based on various themes – flowers, the sea, the forest, space, and more. During the opening the children can participate in Nature Bingo, searching for hidden natural objects in the library. A small prize for everyone who gets bingo!

About:  The exhibition explores our complex relationship with the forest, from its inviolable intrinsic value to its role as an economic resource and recreational site. Through photography, film and sculpture, the artists illuminate the forest from different perspectives.

Walking meditation

About: Calm down at your own pace after a long day. Inner Strength offers audio sessions that combine activity and recovery, inspired by nature and the seasons. These sessions can be taken along on walks or runs, where you'll pause at a scenic spot to be guided through breathing exercises, mobility training, or more challenging core and balance exercises. After your outdoor experience, you can also choose calmer, longer sessions that help you bring the tranquility of nature into your home. All you need is a pair of headphones.
