Botsmarksblocket and Västermarks nature reserve

About: Join for a hike in Botsmark to see the country's largest glacial erratic, weighing about 35,000 tons and standing 15 meters high. Afterwards, you'll hike a 9 km loop through the Västermark Nature Reserve, where you'll find a labyrinth of wetlands mixed with old spruce and pine forests.

Huskywalk

Organizer: Spruce Island Husky
About: Guided hike through the beautiful nature around Granö and the Ume River, where you'll have your own husky attached to a waist belt for the hike. The hike lasts approximately 2 hours.

Hike at Långbergskullarna

About: The beautiful Långbergskullarna have large cobblestone fields and rich nature. The area became a nature reserve in 2016 and offers hiking in varied terrain, through old forest, over boulders and cobblestones, past a magical pond and up a small mountain. The hike takes about 3 hours and the drive there about 35 minutes one way.

Get tips on hiking with your dog from district veterinarian Cecilia Tjärnström, or try out carving with the help of skilled craftsmen. A day filled with adventure for the whole family!
